Through AIDT (Alabama Industrial Development Training), Goodwill Gulf Coast offers leadership skills training that can help individuals become more effective leaders and lead to improved job performance. If you are interested (or would like for your employees to participate), please review the following information, then click the link below:
- Pre-registration is required. No on-site registration will be available.
- Classes are limited to 25 participants and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to limited capacity, companies are allowed up to five participants per class.
- There is a $60 fee for the first of the three monthly classes and a $30 fee for each of the two remaining classes (to cover lunch and administrative costs). There is no cost for the training. Fees can be paid by participants or the company they represent.
- Classes begin at 8 a.m. and end at 4 p.m. Participants must attend each class in full and pass an online assessment to receive a certificate. Attendance, and completion are tracked online. Participants must provide an active email address to track participation.
- Participants must bring a laptop, iPad, or phone to complete the assessment and survey at the end of each session. Certification tests are given after each class with successful completion resulting in the participant receiving an AIDT Leadership Skills certification.

Leadership Skills Training is offered quarterly and consists of three consecutive months of classes. Training sessions begin in January, April, July, and October. For more information, click the link below and go to the associated calendar of events for the month you want to begin your training.
