Hiring Process for Entry Level Positions in Retail Stores and Warehouses
Thank you for your interest in joining our team! Please take a moment to review the important details about our Retail Stores and Warehouses Trainee positions below:
Position Details:
- Duration: Temporary positions for up to 90 days
- Work Hours: Up to 28 hours per week
- Availability Requirement:
- Retail Store Positions: Open availability (Sunday–Saturday, 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM)
- Warehouse/Bargain Store Positions: Open availability (Sunday–Saturday, 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM)
Path to Permanent Employment
- These roles are intended to become regular part-time positions after 90 days. Conversion is expected as long as work performance, work ethic, and cultural fit meet expectations.
Position Posting & Application Timeline:
- Posting Schedule: Positions are posted on the Goodwill Gulf Coast website every Thursday morning.
- Application Deadline: Applications close on Sunday night.
- How Positions are Filled: Positions are filled based on the order in which complete applications are received and your availability to work the required shifts. Early submission of a complete application and flexible availability increase your chances of being selected.
Application Process:
- No Interviews: There is no in-person interview for these positions.
- Communication: All communication is done through phone/text and email between our Recruiter and applicants.
- Job Offer & Paperwork:
- The Recruiter will contact you via email with a job offer and a link to a video about the position.
- You will need to complete the job offer paperwork and return it to us within 24 hours.
