Goodwill offers in-classroom training focused on developing interpersonal skills and personal attributes that enable individuals to interact effectively and harmoniously with others.
Our staff trainers can include a combination of the following topics:
- Life Skills (organizational skills, communication, responsibility, etc.)
- Social Skills (handling conflict, active listening, managing emotions, etc.)
- Personal Hygiene (showering, hand washing, dental care, skin and hair care, etc.)
- Self-Advocacy (knowing yourself, stepping forward, appropriate responses, etc.)
- Job Exploration (career planning, postsecondary education, training and employment, etc.)
- Financial Literacy (banking/checking/savings, budgeting, understanding credit, etc.).
Training can be tailored for elementary, middle school, or high school audiences.
