Alabama
Small classes, taught by staff instructors, are offered at multiple Goodwill locations in Mobile and Baldwin counties. Individual tutoring by trained volunteers is provided to assist adults with basic literacy skills. Adult education services are also available to English language learners in Mobile and Baldwin counties.
In addition, these classes are provided at Mobile County Metro Jail and the James T. Strickland Youth Center. Finally, outreach program sites, staffed by Goodwill instructors and/or volunteers, make these classes more accessible to rural or economically disadvantaged communities throughout our Alabama service area. Adult Education Services are provided at no cost through funding from the Alabama Community College System.
