Susan Roush promoted to Chief Financial Officer

Goodwill Gulf Coast is proud to announce that Susan Roush has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer.

One of the organization’s greatest strengths is the opportunity to promote from within, and Susan’s story is a powerful example of dedication and growth. She began her journey with Goodwill in May 1993, after earning her Accounting degree from the University of South Alabama. Over the years, she has played an essential role in helping Goodwill grow from just four stores, contributing significantly to the development and success of the organization. 

In Susan’s own words: “My journey has always been with the Accounting Department, where I’ve been able to do what I love and help people at the same time. I look forward to our next chapters together.”

As Accounting Director, Susan has provided exceptional leadership, deep institutional knowledge, and heartfelt dedication to her colleagues and the mission. Now stepping into the role of CFO, she is prepared to guide Goodwill’s future as we continue strengthening our mission and expanding our impact. Susan and her late husband, Charlie, have two sons, Charlie and Jackson, who live in Birmingham.
